Front of House Volunteers Fringe 2025

VOLUNTEER WITH US!

Front of House Volunteers Needed – Brighton Fringe – April to June 2025

The Lantern Theatre - a non-profit organisation - is one of Brighton’s best loved fringe theatres.  We showcase a wide range of performances, as well as being the home venue of ACT Brighton, the South Coast's premier drama school.

We are looking for Front of House Volunteers to help us deliver an amazing programme of entertainment during the Brighton Fringe Festival, training in April 2025 and working until the festival ends on June 1st.

Our volunteers’ work helps us to:

  • Provide an organised, well run and welcoming venue for our performers
  • Offer a great front of house experience to our audiences
  • Serve a dynamic and thriving programme of theatre, serving our local community and proudly showing visitors from further afield what the Brighton arts scene has to offer

In return for your availability, we will give you:

  • Free entry to the shows that you’re working on
  • The chance to be a part of a great team and have a lot of fun

Volunteer duties can include:

  • Selling tickets and snacks on our box office
  • Serving and selling drinks (alcoholic and soft) in our Frank Finlay Bar
  • Ushering and generally assisting our audience members

Criteria and Application Dates

Please send in your application by the closing date, Monday 31 March.  Interviews will take place on Saturday 05 April.

You MUST be free for our training day on Saturday 12th April.  Please do not apply if you can’t commit to this, as we simply won’t be able to take you on – sorry!
